The Project
What Akte Bundesliga is — and who it's for
Akte Bundesliga is the central destination for everyone who doesn't just want to watch German football, but understand it. In 21 individual club dossiers, we have compiled the stories, facts, myths and legends that deserve to be told. Dark secrets, iconic heroes, alpha males, arch-enemies, triumphs and embarrassments — for soccer aficionados with a special relationship to the Bundesliga and its clubs.
The project is built on three pillars. The Dossier is the historical record — from the 1962 founding through seven decades of Bundesliga history to the individual club stories. Intelligence delivers the data and signals for qualified predictions: live odds, mispricing signals, recurring trading patterns and market-moving news. And Predictions brings the future dimension: prediction markets, directional alpha and arbitrage strategies for event markets.
"AKTE BUNDESLIGA" is aimed at soccer aficionados with a particular affinity for the Bundesliga and its clubs. The overriding goal: to be well-informed enough to be the most interesting person at the table — whether at a pub quiz, during halftime, or when trading on prediction markets.
Section 1 — The Club Dossiers
Each of the 21 clubs has its own digital dossier with a profile, good-to-know facts, triumphs, catastrophes, the most important personalities, tragic moments and fun facts. Each club dossier is divided into ten categories: (1) Profile, (2) Good to Know, (3) For the Haters, (4) For the Lovers, (5) MIPs: Most Important Persons, (6) PNGs: Personae Non Gratae, (7) Tragic, (8) OMG, (9) Fun Facts, and (10) Special Moments.
Soccer Memes complete each dossier — memorable quotes and viral moments from each club's history.
Section 2 — The History
The complete history of the Bundesliga from its founding in 1962 through seven decades to the present day. Written by Udo Muras (decades 1-6) and Thomas Look (decade 7).
Section 3 — The Facts
Season statistics from the first Bundesliga season 1963/64 to 2019/20 — final tables, first half/second half tables, home and away tables.
